Bible and Homosexuality
I just wish that the Church would read the WHOLE Bible.
all i’m saying is john19:26-27 and john13:23-25.
the beloved disciple declining at jesus’ bosom alright.
well, let’s not over-analyse, but i think we can at least safely say, that jesus was very affectionate towards people, independent of their sex.
certain people and religious groups nowadays would probably consider that to be “gay”.

i have to say that this picture annoys the hell out of me.
noone is more qualified to adopt because they’re gay or less qualified because they’re a hets (as it is implied here). granted, it is more difficult to adopt when you’re a gay couple, but it’s not like they’ll be throwing kids at you when you’re a het couple, no matter how disturbed your familiy conditions are.
this picture is utter bullshit. the implication of gays being the better parents then het couples annoys me deeply. just because you’re gay doesn’t turn you into a better person and it also doesn’t mean you will be a better parent.
the picture should show two couples, which have the same living conditions, just that one of them is a gay couple and they’re not getting approved. then we have a picture that represents the current state of things.
i’m not homophobic. i’m all for equal rights. but making your point by lowering ‘the others’ (meaning het couples) down is horrible, cheap and annoying.
